About my yoga journey

The practice of yoga has entered my life at different times, but it took a while for me to truly embrace it as a daily practice and a source of  balance alongside my dance career. My experience of living for six months in the Moa oasis in the desert sparked my curiosity about meditation, yoga asanas, and yoga philosophy. The unique energy of Moa made it feel naturally for me to incorporate a routine of meditation and yoga into my life. This practice has provided me with an important balance in my dance profession and had helped me strengthen my body while addressing past injuries. It has been a great support in my ongoing healing process from the lingering effects of a car accident I experienced in 2012. Yoga has helped stabilize my knees, align my pelvis and engage the right muscles, reducing knee, hip and back issues. I was trained as a dancer and dance teacher and I currently teach contemporary, ballet, jazz and improvisation classes.

I also work as a choreographer and produce my own contemporary dance performances.

My true passion lies in teaching, and it is in this role that I feel my happiest self.

For a long time, I had the desire to do a Yoga Teacher Training. When Nieke Franken started her own course in Tel Aviv,

I knew it was the right opportunity. She had been my yoga teacher for years, and I always appreciated her unique approach to Vinyasa classes. I began her second Yoga Teacher Training in June 2022 and received my certification in 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga on December 10, 2022.

I am grateful that I got the opportunities to immediatly gain valuable teaching experiences. In Israel, I tought at Studio Naim in Tel Aviv and DCMK in Herzliya and I hosted day retreats in the summer of 2023. In Freiburg, I started as a substitute teacher at "ommm.yoga" in November 2023 and became a regular part of their team, teaching weekly classes starting in October 2024. Since autumn 2024, I have also been hosting day retreats, that blend yoga, dance and journaling around themes like transitions into new beginnings, the new year, or the synchronisation of the moon and women's cycles. 2025 I deepened my practice by doing a "self-retreat" on the Caribbean island Guadeloupe which lead me to participate in the online program "Inner Engineering" by Sadhguru. A new path on my spiritual journey.
