About my yoga journey

The practice of yoga sneaked into my life several times in different periods, but it took some time till I really let it become part of my regular practice and a way of a balance next to my dance field. The experience living for half a year in the Moa oasis  in the desert influenced me in becoming more curious about meditation and the yoga asanas and yoga philosophy. The special energy in Moa made it naturally for me to bring in a routine of meditation and yoga practices. The practice itself gave me an important balance to my dance profession and to strengthen and deal with my past injuries. It gives me great support to continue healing from the left scars of a car accident I experienced in 2012. Yoga helped me to stabilize my knees and align my pelvis and to work with the right muscles to have less knee, hip and back problems. I was trained as a dancer and dance teacher and I am currently teaching contemporary, ballet, jazz and improvisation classes. I also work as a choreographer and produce my own contemporary dance performances. My passion lies in teaching and it is the place I am my happiest self.

For a long time I had the urge to do a Yoga Teacher Training and then Nieke Franken started her own course in Tel Aviv. She has been my yoga teacher for years and I always enjoyed her unique way of a Vinyasa class so I started in June 2022 to be part of her second Yoga Teacher Training and I got certified for 200h Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga on the 10.12.2022.

I am thankful, that I got the opportunities to already teach since December 2022 weekly classes to collect more teaching experiences and to continue learning and growing from wonderful students. In Israel I was teaching weekly classes at Studio Naim in Tel Aviv and DCMK in Herzliya and hosted day retreats in summer 2023. In Freiburg I started as a substitute teacher in November 2023 for ommm.yoga and became a part of their team with regular classes in October 2024. Since autumn 2024 I also hold mini retreats with colliding yoga, dance and journaling around themes like transitions into new beginnings, a new year or the synchronisation of the moon and woman cycle.
