About myself...

My biggest passion in life, my mission is teaching - the place where I feel my happiest self.

I have been working as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher for over ten years. Since 2022 I have deepened my yoga journey by offering Vinyasa yoga classes and hosting retreats, where I combine yoga, dance and journaling.

Born in 1993, I grew up in Germany and came to Israel in 2014 to study with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. I returned in October 2017 and began building my life there. After living in Israel for seven years, I had to leave Tel Aviv and decided to move  to Freiburg, Germany, in September 2023. In addition to teaching yoga and performing my own creations, I work for Studio Pro Arte as a dance teacher in contemporary, jazz and ballet. I also choreograph and manage their Junior Company und Company Pro Arte.

My journey began with Classical Ballet training under the Royal Academy of Dance System from the age of four. At nine, I added Modern Dance and later took classes in Jazz, Tap Dance and Hip Hop at the Karren Foster Academy and Iwanson International. During this time I participated in many performances.

My passion for teaching started early, and I began giving my own classes at the age of seventeen in the Stuttgart area.

After finishing school in 2012, I auditioned for universities and private schools to study dance, but a severe car accident cancelled my plans. I underwent a two-year rehabilitation period, during which I learned a great deal about the anatomy of the body and how to deal with injuries. This experience profoundly influenced my approach to training an teaching.

My mentor, Karren Foster, taught and inspired me in many ways. Even during my injury, I gained significant experience in teaching and choreographing performances when I couldn't perform myself.

In 2014, I was selected for the Study Year of the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company and came to Israel for the first time. I had the priviledge of dancing in choreographies by Eyal Dadon and Olga Stetsyuk and performing repertoire of Rami Be’er and Mats Ek.

This experience was truly remarkable.

The following two years, I continued to expand my dance education with my own free schedule, that included short-term programs in contemporary, modern, ballet and gaga as well in pedagogy and anatomy. I traveled to major dance cities such as Amsterdam (Henny Jurriens Foundation), Berlin (marameo/tanzfabrik), Tel Aviv (Gaga & Batsheva Repertoire Intensives), Paris (Studio Harmonic/LAX Studio) and New York (Steps on Broadway, Peridance Center, Gibney Dance Center). However, no other country had as a profound impact on me as Israel.

In 2016, I choreographed and performed a full-length piece called “Sababa” with seventeen dance students from the Karren Foster Academy. That same year I moved to Munich to teach and to work as a dancer for “Dance Theater of Munich”, as well as for the Performance LAB with Mia Lawrence and other projects. Despite my deep connection to Israel, my travels led me back to Tel Aviv in October 2017, where I made it my home.

In January 2018, I spent six months at the Moa Oasis in the Israeli desert to deepen my own movement research. I fell in love with the desert, which taught me invaluable life lessons and helped me reconnect with my true purpose in dance and teaching.

My life in Tel Aviv during 2018 and 2019 was shaped by following my long-term passion for Gaga. I immersed myself in intensive classes at Suzanne Dellal.

When the pandemic caused dance studios to close, I moved in December 2020 to the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company to join a training program and receive mentorship for my own creations. I was grateful for the opportunity to return Ga’aton an learn from the company that had inspired me to come to Israel in 2014.

In 2021 my short pieces “Never Not A Lovely Moon” (Solo) and “Moon Water” (Trio) were performed in Zichri Theatre. The works were later combined into a 15-min version for a performance at Habait Theatre in Jaffa in March 2021. In September 2021, my production and choreography “MOA”, featuring dancers Shiraz Yoel and Rotem Yakov and live musician Dan Avidor, premiered at Jaffa Theatre and was performed again in November.

Throughout 2021, I built up my teaching schedule and taught in Tel Aviv at Studio Naim, Dance Community Club and Studio B and in Kiryat Ono at Bustan Dance Center.

In November 2022, I founded my own studio in Herzliya (DCMK) and I started teaching at Halelu Dance Studio in Jerusalem.

In June 2022, I completed a Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training by Nieke Franken and received certification in December 2022. I immediately started teaching as part of DCMK in Herzliya and began offering weekly yoga classes at Studio Naim in Ramat Gan in March 2023.

Unfortunately, I had to leave Israel and decided to move to Freiburg, Germany in September 2023. Before leaving, I performed a solo piece "A  State of Intensity" at Jaffa Alsaraya Theatre in Tel Aviv on the 3rd of September. You can read more about my pieces in the "Performances" section.

In Freiburg, I was warmly welcomed by the dance community and immediatly began teaching full-time at Studio Pro Arte in contemporary, ballet and jazz for kids, teenagers and adults. Additionally, I manage, train and choreograph for the Junior Company und Company Pro Arte and later on co-directed the academy department of Studio Pro Arte. In June 2024 I was managing and co-choreographing their production "Life Beat" with four performances at Forum, Merzhausen.  I performed as a dancer at tanzAreal Karlsruhe, mensabar Freiburg. I worked as a solist for "Connecting the dots" by Chantal Kohlmeyer & the Freiburger Akkordeon Orchester at SPA and Lokhalle Freiburg. In 2024, I developed an intense creation with Deyaa Alsayed "Can you HOLD SPACE for me - even though you disagree" at SPA and tanzAreal, which survived three work-in-progress performances. I teach yoga classes at Ommm.yoga in Freiburg and hold retreats, where I combine yoga, dance and journaling. Since 2025 I have stopped working in the office for Studio Pro Arte, to have more time for my yoga journey and own creations. I deepened my practice by doing a "self-retreat" on the Caribbean island Guadeloupe, which lead me to participate in the online program "Inner Engineering" by Sadhguru. A new path, a state of joy on my spiritual journey. My new piece "The Voyage Inward" will premiere in May 2025 at E-Werk Kammertheater in Freiburg.
